BCTV:  Can we meet you?
MO'ZEAL: My name is Moses Ochapa Orinya signed to Fine Boys Records.

BCTV: Where did you grow up?
MO'ZEAL: I grew up  in different places because my dad was a police officer and you know they can be posted to any part of the country but when he was transferred to Jos, I moved with him and that was where I had my primary education.

BCTV: How exactly did you come into the music industry?
MO'ZEAL: I am a lover of music from day one and let me say it all began from the children choir in church , to school choir but it started when in my primary school days.

BCTV: What are the challenges you faced at the early stage?
MO'ZEAL: Making up one's mind to do music is a very big challenge . At first getting sponsors to support to raise funds for a studio session was a major challenge.

BCTV : Who was the first to believe in you?
MO'ZEAL: God bless my boss Play Baba for believing in me and making things work for me. GOD BLESS YOU SIR! The very first set of people who believed in me was my Cousin, Mr Job and Mr Sheddy(Mr Femi Akinsanya) who gave me the name Mo'zeal and paid for my studio fee.

BCTV: what was the inspiration behind your song Makapolo?
MO'ZEAL: Wow Makapolo (smiles) the inspiration came at the bus park in Jos, I was saddled with how to get to Lagos. Let me say it was my experience at the pasrk that inspired the song.

BCTV: What are your thoughts on music production in Nigeria?
MO'ZEAL: We have improved alot,  from sounds we make to sound engineers and the best of them all is DJ Willie of Hypertek. We can compete with the western world now.

BCTV: If you are to collaborate with any artiste who would that be?
MO'ZEAL: Wizkid, 2baba and Patoranking

BCTV: Do you engage in any business aside music?
MO'ZEAL: Strictly music.

BCTV: How do you unwind?
MO'ZEAL: Wow (adjust his seat) after my daily activities I make sure I get enough sleep cos I don't want to listen to any sound other than sleep well. Good sleep is also part of the business .

BCTV: Who are your musical influence?
MO'ZEAL: 2face and Akon and that is because I love their sound, there is life in the music they make, powerful lyrics , strong vocals coupled with excellent delivery.

BCTV: Do you think other artistes may see you as snoobish if you don't collaborate with anyone else?
MO'ZEAL: I am very open to all irrespective of your status in the industry in as much as you make good sound.

BCTV: One advice for upcoming artistes out there.
MO'ZEAL: I really want them to keep doing what they know how to do best. Getting a record deal is not the end of the hustle,  the real hustle starts when you sign a deal so good things don't come easy.
